A development drawing from the Hanna Barbera animated series "The New Shmoo" (1979). Featuring a great illustration of Billy Joe, Nita, and Shmoo making a getaway inside the news van, the graphite and colored pencil drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9"x12", the drawing is in very good condition with discoloration, edge and corner wear, creasing, light graphite smudging, and general handling wear.
