The Flintstones Frankenstones Model Cel - ID: janflintstones2584

An original model cel from "The Frankenstones" segment of the Hanna Barbera animated series "The Flintstones Comedy Show" (1980-1981). Featuring a fabulous image of various punk and new wave teenagers, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model cels are created during production in the same manner as screen shot production cels, but are used for reference by the animators, and the ink and paint department to ensure consistent character design and color usage for characters in a production. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6"x8.5", the cel is in very good condition with staples through the top corners due to studio use.
